           AI tools can offer a great starting point. They can:

      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
      
           • Help with formatting
           &#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
      
           • Suggest professional wording
           &#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
      
           • Offer guidance on what content to include
           &#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
      
           However, they can’t replace you, your unique background, voice, goals, and personality.
           &#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
      
           Why personalisation matters:
           &#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
      
           Your resume and cover letter should tell your story, not a generic version. When you rely too heavily on AI without reviewing and personalising the content, you risk submitting documents that:
           &#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
      
           • Lack your individual tone and voice
           &#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
      
           • Contain incorrect skills or experience
           &#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
      
           • Are formatted and worded very similar to the next AI written resume (we currently have 15 resumes that are almost identical for one of our roles) If we question the validity of one thing, we will question the validity of every thing
           &#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
      
           • Contain no or incorrect contact information
           &#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
      
           A resume that sounds impressive but doesn’t reflect your actual work history can lead to mismatched job opportunities - or worse, damage your credibility when it comes to having a conversation with a potential employer or recruiter.
           &#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
      
           What you should always do:
           &#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
      
           If you choose to use AI to help write your resume, ensure you:
           &#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
      
           • Carefully review everything the AI has written
           &#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
      
           • Cross-check for errors, missing dates, or role descriptions that don’t quite match your real experience
           &#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
      
           • Edit the language to reflect your own tone and voice - after all, this is your first impression
           &#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
      
           • Personalise the formatting so it represents how you would format a document - this is particularly important if you are in an admin role where as above your resume is the first example a potential employer will see regarding your ability to put a document together
           &#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
      
           • Check that you have added your personal details at the end Name, email, mobile – sounds simple, but we are receiving lots of resumes with none of this information
           &#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
      
           • Edit, Edit, Edit until you are happy with the content
           &#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
      
           Remember:
           &#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
      
           Your resume should represent your experience, not just what an algorithm thinks an employer wants to hear. A well-written, accurate, and authentic resume will always stand out more than a generic or error-filled one.
           &#xD;

           AI is changing the way we work, communicate and even job hunt, so it’s no surprise that many people are turning to AI tools to help write their CV’s.

           The promise of a perfectly worded, grammatically flawless resume is tempting…. but is it the right move for everyone? 
          &#xD;

           AI is definitely here to stay and it can support your job search, however when it comes to your CV and cover letter, two documents that can either make or break your first impression when you’re applying for a role, there is no substitute for your own voice and judgement on what to include. 
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           We’ve seen a dramatic rise in AI-written applications recently, and to be honest while some are impressive, many fall flat. Some miss the mark entirely, sound robotic, or worse, leave out crucial details.

           As Recruiters we look at resumes day in and day out.   We receive several thousand resumes per month so we have pretty much seen it all over the years (even some that just defy words!)

           The perfect resume gives enough information about your experience, skills and attributes that people will want to pick up the phone and talk to you in more detail about their role.

    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;

           You don't want your resume to be too long and too wordy; but by the same token you don't want it to be too short and lacking in detail. If the reader has a question mark over what you did or what you mean they will more than likely move on to the next resume.

  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;

            Try and keep each bullet point to one line maximum as people tend to skim through your points and be looking for points that match up with the role you have applied for.

  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;

    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
