Our client is a stable and well-established accounting firm based in Liverpool, offering a full range of business advisory, taxation and accounting services to a loyal and diverse client base.
They are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Accountant
to join their close knit, friendly team .
This is a hands-on role, offering variety, client interaction and the chance to further develop your advisory skills in a collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities would include:
- Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, sole traders, partnerships, trusts, companies and SMSF's
- Preparation of BAS/IAS
- Providing business taxation advice to clients, including tax planning, budgeting and cash flow forecasts
- Liaising with ATO and other statutory authorities on behalf of clients
- The ability to build good working relationships with clients
- Effective communication skills for email, phone and face to face client interactions (including attending client meetings)
- Providing solutions and advice to improve client processes and generate new ideas for clients
Intermediate Excel, and a good working knowledge of MYOB AE, XERO Practice Manager or similar is essential.
