Our client is a large, well-established business in the SMEATON GRANGE/NARELLAN area that sell their products to both national and international retailers.
They are looking for an experienced Cost Accountant to take ownership of product costings for all entities within their group and provide accurate analysis of data back to the management team regarding sales, purchasing and manufacturing costs.
Day to day responsibilities of this role include:
- Product costing for all entities within the group (both local and international)
- Analyse individual product profitability by customer and region
- Ensure accuracy of information for customer order reports
- Analysis of sales and purchasing data to assist with decision making processes
- Creation of sales documents for major customers across the Asia Pacific region and backup for other International regions
- Assist with month end and year end tasks
- Support the purchasing, invoicing, payables and receivables departments as required
- Other tasks as required
A bit about the skills and experience you would bring to the table -
- A degree in Accounting, Finance or Business and relevant hands-on experience
- Proven product costing experience
- Strong analytical skills
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience with multi-currency ERP software
- Manufacturing or FMCG type experience
- Team player with strong focus on attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
This role is permanent full-time hours, located 100% within our client's offices in SMEATON GRANGE.
