With long term tenure of their staff, this role offers a rare opportunity for an experienced Financial Accountant to join their close-knit finance team.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing and reviewing financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations;
- Accounts through to Trial balance for various entities
- Various weekly and monthly reconciliations
- Update depreciation schedule and recurring journals
- Prepare PAYG, tax, BAS returns in a timely manner
- Assist with the preparation of budgets, forecasts and financial reports
- Perform annual FBT calculations
- Track and records entries relating to land sales transactions.
- Follow up on any Land Tax, VG Notice issues
- Conduct analysis and evaluate prospective tenants
- Calculate and post loan interest in line with policies and agreements
- Provide support to Accounts Receivable & Payables, as required
- Related ad hoc duties
Experience working with MYOB or MYOB Acumatica (or similar) would be a definite advantage.
This is a full-time role located in the ORAN PARK area and would be within an easy drive if you live in, or around, NARELLAN, CAMDEN, GREGORY HILLS, SMEATON GRANGE, LEPPINGTON, WEXT HOXTON, AUSTRAL, CAMPBELLTOWN, PENRITH, or surrounding suburbs. Own transport is essential. Onsite parking is provided.
