To use or not to use AI when updating or creating your CV...

AI is changing the way we work, communicate and even job hunt, so it’s no surprise that many people are turning to AI tools to help write their CV’s.
The promise of a perfectly worded, grammatically flawless resume is tempting…. but is it the right move for everyone?
It’s not a "hard no" or a "definite yes" from me, the answer probably lies somewhere in the middle.
AI is definitely here to stay and it can support your job search, however when it comes to your CV and cover letter, two documents that can either make or break your first impression when you’re applying for a role, there is no substitute for your own voice and judgement on what to include.

Over coming days we’ll explore some “Do’s and Don’ts” and give you tips on how to use AI effectively when updating both your CV and your cover letter.
Remember: the best applications aren’t written by AI, they’re written with it!
